2025 Event Calendar
Listed below are some early dates but there is more to come.

January 17th
- Italy in a Glass

We will start with a couple of sparkling wines from Italy to celebrate the new year and move into a few other varieties.

February 21st
- North Carolina Wines

If you were not able to make it to the National Wine Conference. We brough back a few items from the North Carolina wine trail and will showcase a few of them during our February meeting. Presented by AWS Members.

March 21st
- Wild West Wines

We'll delve into the fascinating history of Western Wineries and explore the renowned wine grape production regions within our western states. From the crisp and fruity Sauvignon Blanc to the bold and complex Cabernet Sauvignon. SOLD OUT

April 11th - Naturally Boudeaux
Presented by Brinda Bourhis of Winevox

Brinda has a deep commitment to sharing her expertise and will be vising us from France with special delivery of wines on-hand. She is excited to share her passion for Bordeaux wines, one of the world’s most renowned wine regions, celebrated for its exceptional blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and other grape varieties.

Brinda will be introducing an exquisite selection of organic wines from three distinguished Châteaux to AWS Meadowlands chapter.

 

The featured wines include offerings from Château Fourcas Hosten, Château Jean Faure, and Château de La Dauphine.

 

Not to be missed… so don’t forget to mark this exciting event on your calendar!

May 16th - Rhone Valley Wines
Presented by Robert Cavanaugh founder of Adventure Wine.

Robert has provided wine education in over dozens of countries throughout the world. He will bring with him some of his favorite Rhone Valley wines to share with AWS Meadowlands members and guests. This event always sells out so be sure to RSVP - limited seating.

June 7th. A Whiskey & Bourbon Challenge.

Limited to first 25 people.

WL Weller; Four Roses; Jeffersons Ocean; Penelope and friends are all expected to visit the event. Come and meet them all.


June 20th. Restaurant Night
We have a NEW place to venture - Featuring dishes from Piedmont and Veneto Italy. "The Risotto House of Hasbrouck Heights" This is a smaller venue and will only be able to accommodate a smaller number of participants. More details will be available soon.

July 11 - Time to Bottle wine

We will bottle the 2024 harvest @ Make Wine With Us

DON’T Forget every month Make Wine With Us will have a Barrel tasting.   The Last one for this season is Saturday May 17th and Sunday May 18th from 1 pm – 4pm

This is an opportunity to sample wines right from the barrels.  Taste the wines and ask questions, explore and learn about the wonderful world of wine.   No fee.

August 8th
Sangria and Tapas Night

This year, we are proud to announce our collaboration with Segovia Steak and Seafood Restaurant, renowned for its exceptional culinary offerings. Together, we are delighted to present you with an exquisite selection of authentic tapas dishes that embody the rich traditions and flavors of Spanish cuisine.  They will provide the food, and we will provide the Sangrias.    This will be hosted at your favorite local winery, Make Wine With Us!

                     September 13th  – The Boys are Back in Town.

Make Wine with Us and American Wine Society Meadowlands Presents:  Phil Miuccio and friends, they will sing a few favorite classic tunes for your enjoyment and dancing.  Join Phil and Friends for a night of Sinatra and other Rat Pack Classics.    He will be joined by Jerry Lanzerotti of “Party of Five” and maker of the best cannoli in Bergen County at Lyndhurst Patry!     Eric Lucka will be our DJ for this evening’s fund raiser.

This was a SOLD-Out event so mark your calendar. $30 per person – A LINK will be posted at a later date.

We will share this months theme as soon as we validate details.

 If you are interested in delivering a presentation for the esteemed members of the American Wine Society, we would be delighted to hear from you. 

Over the years, we have hosted exceptional presentations from industry leaders, including vendors, distributors, and various wine brand representatives. 

We offer an engaged audience of 40–50 participants who share a passion for wine and its culture. Please feel free to reach out to discuss the details.    We would be more than happy to collaborate with you to ensure a successful event.erous

AWS Meadowlands chapter sessions are generally $20/p for active AWS Members and $25/p for guest.  Guest are welcome to attend up to three AWS sessions.   

Special events are separate from our AWS educational / learning sessions and are more social in nature.
